MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international advancements into Latin pop mainstream. In the year 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and also released ADN as his first full-length album. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. Vaina Loca the album that was one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. Mala Influencia came out as his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. Following that season, Dopamina became his second album. Then, in 2021 He sang a duet 2021 alongside TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was published in 2023. Turizo was brought up in a musical environment, as both his mother & younger brother are musicians. In his interviews, he said music participation as mandatory. While a boy, he studied the guitar and saxophone. Although his first career choice was that of a veterinarian for animals but his brother Julian encouraged him to start taking singing lessons from the Cuban. The lessons transformed his life forever.
